Craft began with a question
As both a world champion athlete and a Harvard-trained scientist, Anders Corbett wanted to understand why elite performers adapt faster, recover stronger, and sustain peak performance longer than anyone else.
After years of research, Anders discovered that the difference ran deeper than training or nutrition. It lived in the microbiome, the complex network of bacteria that influences energy, recovery, and mental clarity.
That discovery became the foundation of Craft Microbiome: a company built to translate cutting-edge microbiome science into real-world performance.
From that origin came a new category of research and innovation focused on how biology shapes human potential.
Anders Corbett begins studying athlete microbiomes during postdoctoral research at Harvard.
Identification of unique microbial patterns in elite endurance athletes.
Formation of the Craft research initiative dedicated to microbiome-based performance science.
Craft becomes an independent performance biology company.
Launch of the first athlete-derived probiotic formulations.
